Inuit Bird - Olive Green

This tile was inspired by a visit to the Native Peoples section of the American Museum of Natural History. They have an extensive collection of Inuit ivory and bone carvings that depict animals and figures from myths and legends. This design began its life based on the shape of an elegant bird and morphed into a stylized creature with exposed interior dimensions that brings insight to all your ponderings!.

Measuring approximately 3" wide and 6 1/4" tall, this tile is glazed in our Victorian style crackle Goldenrod glaze. This stunning glaze flows from the raised detils and pools darker in the recesses.
